Score Against Hunger

Get in on the game! Missouri Tiger's Score Against Hunger lets you be part of Mizzou Tiger action while tackling hunger in central and northeast Missouri.

Score Against Hunger is a partnership between The Food Bank and the University of Missouri Tigers football team and Head Coach Barry Odom that allows fans to support a good cause while cheering on the Tigers. Pledge an amount or an amount per point scored during the season to participate. Or, donate a leadership gift to become a corporate, organizational or individual sponsor.

Every $1 donated is the equivalent of $21 worth of groceries!

Money raised goes directly toward acquisition and distribution of food. The Food Bank works with 130 pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other partner agencies in 32-counties to provide food at no charge to those experiencing hunger. Additionally, The Food Bank distributes 7,500 Buddy Packs each week during the school year to low-income children at 157 elementary schools.

Score Against Hunger began in 1995 as a way for the Mizzou football team to support The Food Bank’s mission. In 2008, the campaign expanded to Cole County, and this year will be held throughout The Food Bank's 32-county service area.

The Food Bank relies heavily on this campaign to continue its mission of hunger relief in central and northeast Missouri.
