Sharing food. Bringing hope.

Sterling Wyatt Memorial Fundraiser at Applebees

Aug 18, 2012

8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Spc. Sterling Wyatt used to volunteer at The Food Bank when he was in youth group at First Baptist Church.  The Sterling family indicated The Food Bank as one of the charities to receive memorial gifts.  To honor his memory, both Applebee’s locations in Columbia are holding an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Aug. 18th with all proceeds going to The Food Bank’s Buddy Pack program.

The all-you-can-eat Flapjack Fundraiser includes Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, and Tater tots.  Coffee, milk, and orange juice are also included.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at The Food Bank or at the door.

Applebees is opening their doors early for this special event and needs some volunteers to help (6-8 at each location). If you are interested in volunteering, please call Cassie, The Food Bank’s volunteer coordinator at 573-474-1020. Volunteers will help seat people, serve food, bus tables, etc.  Some would need to arrive at 7:30 a.m.
