As of January, The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri will deliver approximately 20,000 pounds of food to Beacon of Hope’s food pantry every month.

The pantry will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Items are distributed to anyone seeking help. There are no qualifications or specific eligibility requirements. Products are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upon arrival for the first time at the food pantry, individuals will be asked to fill out a small application and provide a picture ID, proof of residency, income and Social Security card for each household who will be receiving the food.

Volunteers are also needed to help pass out food on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the pantry opens.

For more information about how to donate food, volunteer at the food pantry, or for additional information, contact Pastor Steven McQueen at 573-552-1309.

To make a monetary contribution, mail donations to Beacon of Hope Church, P.O. Box 1339, Osage Beach. Beacon of Hope is a registered 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.

The Beacon of Hope Church is located at 1104 Runabout Drive in Osage Beach.
