The Food Bank works with third-party analytics vendors to provide a more customized experience for online visitors. To do so, we disclose information about individual users—which may include personally identifiable information like names and email addresses—to those vendors. We do not allow analytics vendors to sell or use that information for their own purposes.

The Food Bank uses information collected on our websites to help us understand browsing activity and actions of our donors, volunteers and neighbors so we can measure the success of our education, awareness and fundraising efforts and contact persons based on information requests and engagement. Information may also be shared with third parties when  necessary to fulfill a request. Changes to this policy will be publicly announced.

The Food Bank will never sell or trade a donor’s personal information with any other entity, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. Requests for anonymity by donors will be honored, as will requests to be removed from mailing lists.

The Food Bank also adheres to the Donor Bill of Rights as listed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. The rights were formed to “assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support.”
