Lindsay became the third person to serve as president and CEO of The Food Bank in November 2014.

Previously, she spent more than 18 years in higher education fundraising and advancement.

Lindsay is active in the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of Feeding Missouri's Board of Directors.

Daryle Bascom is chief operations officer at The Food Bank, a role he has held since 2015.

In his role, Daryle oversees warehouse and volunteer room operations, facilities and The Food Bank's fleet; and the acquisition and distribution of more than 30 million pounds of food every year.

He previously worked at the University of Missouri Department of Athletics.

Julie Dorn is chief development officer at The Food Bank, a position she assumed in 2015.

In her role, Julie oversees fundraising, grants and donor and community relations.

Previously, Julie served as director of advancement at Boys & Girls Town of Missouri and has worked in marketing, communications and event planning.

Penny Kuhns-Knarr joined The Food Bank as the chief human resources officer in 2021.

Penny holds a SHRM-SCP designation as a Senior Certified Professional and has been working in human resources for over twenty-five years.

Penny is active in the Columbia Chamber of Commerce where she serves as an ambassador and a member of Women’s Network. When not at work, you can often find her supporting athletic or marching band activities with her children at Hickman High School, where she is a member of the Touchdown Club, Athletic Boosters and Performing Arts Boosters.

Veronica Bullock began her career in food banking in April 2025 as The Food Bank's chief financial officer. She received a Master of Business Administration, Accounting degree and has been in accounting for over 17 years. Previously, Veronica worked for Agents National Title Insurance Company as Statutory Accounting Manager. Before that, she worked for MFA Oil Company, a longtime supporter of The Food Bank.

Katie Adkins is chief community relations officer and has been with The Food Bank since 2021.

In her role, Adkins acts as a spokesperson for The Food Bank and oversees partner relations and internal and external communications for the organization, developing and implementing mission-driven partnership and communication strategy.

Before The Food Bank, Adkins worked in public education and later transitioned into internal communications at the University of Missouri System.
