Ensuring our students have access to the food they need to thrive is essential. In Missouri, 1 in 5 children lack consistent access to a healthy diet. In [ENTER SCHOOL NAME], we partner with The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri to share food with families and support our students success. Our School Market gives students the chance to choose the foods right for their family, adding to the nutrition provided at home and in school. Students can select from a variety of preserved fruits and vegetables, to protein, grains, snacks or other meal ingredients depending on what's available. We understand these choices may be difficult for some students, which is why our School Market Coordinator is available to assist them. The Coordinator can help guide students through the different options and help them select what they may need. School Markets bring individualized support to students experiencing food insecurity, helping to support students and give them what they need to thrive. If you'd like to learn more about the program, please reach out to our School Market Coordinator!
Hunger is a significant issue that affects many, including our students. In Missouri, 1 in 5 children experience food insecurity, with many of their other family members dealing with the same challenge. That’s where [ENTER SCHOOL NAME]’s School Market program comes in. In partnership with The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, we provide a variety of meal ingredients, snacks and more for students experiencing food insecurity. Our School Market allows students to choose the foods they bring home, empowering them to pick what they need to thrive. If you'd like to learn more about the program, please reach out to our School Market Coordinator!
Thanks to our partnership with The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, students and their families can access tasty and nutritious food through our School Market. The School Market provides an experience similar to shopping, giving students a choice over the ingredients they take home.
