Float Your Boat is mid-Missouri’s original cardboard regatta, celebrating community and helping neighbors since 2012. Proceeds from Float Your Boat help The Food Bank feed neighbors in our 32-county service area. Because of The Food Bank's relationships and bulk purchasing power, a $25 donation can help provide at least 75 meals to those in need.

What Does My Team Need to Know?
You can participate in Float Your Boat if you are 8 years old or older:
- The short course is designed for kids 8-14 years old.
- The long course is open to anyone over the age of 14.
Teams can win awards but must follow the rules to do so. Even if your team doesn’t go home with an award, you’ll be a winner for helping neighbors in need get nutritious food!

Register to participate in the 2026 regatta by completing the registration form.
Can I Volunteer to Help?
Yes, yes and yes! Volunteers are needed to help launch and haul off boats, run paddles, sell t-shirts and cheer on the participants! If you would like to help, we will find a job that works for you. And, all volunteers receive a free event shirt for their support! You can sign up to volunteer by visiting our volunteer registration page.
