Food & Fund Drives
Host Your own food drive
Whether you host a traditional drive to collect canned goods and monetary donations or you hold a virtual food drive to raise funds for The Food Bank, you can make a difference for someone who needs help.
In-Person Drive
Food and fund drives allow communities to collect nonperishable food items and monetary donations for The Food Bank. Most-needed items include canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, beans, rice, cereal, peanut butter, soup and pasta.
It is The Food Bank’s highest priority to acquire and distribute nutritious foods to those who need it most. However, the healthiest foods are fresh, perishable goods that cannot be donated through traditional food drives. That’s why we collect monetary donations through our food and fund drives, in addition to food, to help purchase valuable, fresh and nutritious foods for our neighbors.
Monetary donations are often the most impactful method of giving, as The Food Bank has incredible bulk-purchasing power. For every $25 gift, we can provide at least 75 meals!
Virtual Drives
A virtual drive is a great option if you cannot collect donations in person or want to raise funds online. You can create a customized donation page to share with your friends, family and community! Virtual drives are an easy way to create a big impact for neighbors facing hunger by raising monetary donations.
