In the fall of 2023, The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri received the incredible honor of being the first non-profit organization ever to be inducted into the Boone County Hall of Fame.
It is humbling to look back on our history, from our inception as an organization in 1981, to where we are today – A well-established food bank that is connected through a national network, distributing food at no cost to tens of thousands of neighbors every month all across our 32-county service area.
We are extremely proud of the profound impact The Food Bank has been able to make in the lives of so many right here in our community. Our mission to share food and bring hope to neighbors not only in Boone County, but all across our service area would not be possible without our dedicated donors, volunteers, staff and supporters.
